RouteDrop began with a simple gap: a multi-stop drive should be something you can shape, save, rehearse, share, and send—not a fragile list rebuilt from memory in the driver’s seat.
That idea grew into a local route library, rich stop actions, editable curated drives, Trips, a real-road simulator, social tools for nearby drivers and caravans, and a guided bridge to compatible Tesla navigation.
We make the planning deep so the driving interface can stay focused.
Product principles
Power with visible boundaries.
Nothing mysterious
RouteDrop shows wake, pairing, command compatibility, preparation, progress, confirmation, cooldowns, and fallback states. An uncertain vehicle response should never masquerade as certainty.
Rehearse the complex part
Trigger radii, ordered actions, arrival cards, chained routes, and long-route handoffs deserve a simulator before they meet a physical drive.
Presence is chosen
Radar uses coarse qualifying presence. Convoys require a code and separate room-specific consent before precise sharing. Public identity is a handle and chosen vehicle appearance—not a Tesla account name.
Generated means reviewable
Grok drafts are editable, their sources remain visible, generated audio has saved-text fallback, and Live Drive commentary is entertainment—not navigation, safety advice, or historical authority.
Independent on purpose
RouteDrop EV is a Barista Labs product. We use official integrations where available, name compatible services clearly, and do not present the app as an official product of Tesla or another provider.
Privacy, plainly
Your route is yours until you ask a feature to use it.
The complete Privacy Policy is authoritative. These are the product boundaries in everyday language.
Planning stays on device
Ordinary route creation, editing, organization, package export, and much of simulation do not require a RouteDrop account.
Tesla sign-in stays with Tesla
RouteDrop does not receive your Tesla password or request the personal-data scope for your real email. Encrypted service tokens support only the live vehicle actions you authorize.
Live features have different precision
Radar publishes coarse qualifying presence. Convoys relay precise location only after per-room consent. Dynamic Maximum is absent from public Release builds.
No ads or cross-app tracking
RouteDrop does not sell route data or build an advertising profile. Optional diagnostics are off by default and can be disabled again from Profile.
You can leave
Your local-first library privately syncs through iCloud, and a full RouteDrop export gives you an independent portable backup. Log out to end the Tesla session while keeping routes. Delete Account removes associated RouteDrop server data but does not erase the private iCloud library; Apple subscriptions must be managed separately.
